Bellarmine went 16-14 last season and carries a C+ prestige. It had been owned for 64 seasons by the same owner, who appears to not be renewing. The team reached the 2nd round of the PIT this season, is set for motion & man sets and features 5 scholarship openings for recruiting season.
S. Indiana was 10-17 last season, missing tournament play, and carries a C- prestige into the new recruiting season. It was human-run for 10 seasons and operated on a flex & zone/press setup. This team brings back EVERYONE for the upcoming season, so a great chance to hit the ground running and build both that prestige and recruiting war chest!
As a league, we're reaping the cash from 10 NT games and 7 PIT games this past season. Conference play is a meat grinder because the league typically sends 5-7 to the dance each season. We're a fun bunch..3 of us have been at our schools for 25+ seasons and my 728 career Naismith wins barely puts me in the top half of the league's coaches. The coaches' chat is lively and good-natured.
