FAST Job advise - D1 Coaches. Topic

I am a successful D2 coach with one NC, 2 other appearances and lots of deep runs in the NT. I have never had much of a desire to move up to D1. However, I was looking at jobs like I always do out of curiosity and discovered I am qualified for a BIG 10 C job. The only reason I would eer move up is to get a Big 6 job. This direct jump appeals to me. I would appreciate any timely input from you D1 guys. Thanks!

I would move to the B10 school IF the location is conducive. If it's like Purdue for example and a strong Indiana is nearby, I wouldn't do it. But if it's like an isolated Minnesota or something you can win there, and you should consider it. High D1 is a different animal, and I think all coaches who want to be elite should give it a go.

Fair Warning: the most difficult thing to do in this game is to turn around a bottom feeding Big 6 school.  That said, if you are excited by the prospect, then do it!

P.S. You might also want to check the baseline prestige wags that have been posted in these forums.  Baseline effects were softened in some update, but still make a big difference.  I suppose conference prestige (and bonus cash) almost matter more.
