Injuries Effect Early Entry Topic

I have a PG at my Boston College team in Knight that sprained his ACL in a game. His health dropped to 70 and has since risen back to 86 with me sitting him out. My guess is a sprained ACL has a pretty likely chance of becoming more serious with playing time, which is why I held him out completely.

I'm really thin at guards, and my team isn't that great to begin with, so I'm contemplating playing him tonight in a pretty important game to me trying to stay tournament eligible.

The guard is a sophomore and is around 10 or so on the draft big board with a 'likely going' status.

Then the thought then came to me if I play him and he does suffer a significant injury, would that have an impact on his draft status?

I.E.,  if I gamble and play him, even if he gets hurt, the silver lining would be the injury would make him more likely to return since he wouldn't be draftable if he was injured.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with injured players being drafted or not drafted ?

I have zero exper with this but when I look at his profile it doesn't say anything about an injury anymore. You sure he's not recovered already? I also doesn't say anything on the game preview about an injury.

I don't really know if there is actually a risk of them reinjuring it, or if that is just what the email says. I would play him if he will help your team. I usually play them if they are good and over like 85 or so in health.
