I promised a guy both a starting spot and 25 minutes. I doubt he'll hit the 25, probably winding up at 22-ish instead. What's the work ethic effect when you bat .500?

Most guys are OK at 80(ish) percent of the value.  So, 22 should be ok (it is 88%)

You can also game the system by picking a couple of SIM games (or known blowout losses for you) and set him to "Foul Trouble Only" in those games.  He will play close to 40 minutes there, allowing some leeway.
