Over the past few seasons I've been having a lot of troubles figuring out what to do with my team on offense. Defensively, we're fine. We have a ton of solid defenders and there are really no worries on that front, but offensively we've been atrocious. In looking at my roster, I was wondering if maybe there wasn't something I've been missing. Is there a guy on my roster who can be an effective scorer? Or am I just doomed to spread my Distro somewhat evenly and hope for the best?

You honestly don't have that many good scorers. Your high ath guys are mediocre to low lp, your high lp guy is low ath, and you don't have a guy combining per, bh and speed.

I might try or experiment with feeding your high ath guys at a higher rate to see if you can get to the line a lot ...

you could also use some more pass.....a true pg helps alot......whipple should also shoot alot

Your scoring options aren't exactly top-notch, but it can be sorted out.  As TJ says, Whipple should be your #1 option.  In the absence of a true SPD/PER/BH combination, he's at least kind of got two of the three.

You've got a #2 - #5 that you might as well mess with.  Low has two of the three attributes mentioned above, but is missing the best one to have, the PER.  He's got a little SPD and BH though, and with a B- FT he won't kill you at the line, so he can have some distro at -2.  Stewart doesn't have the ATH to be a big threat, but you gotta start somewhere, and that somewhere is that 72 LP.

Hardy is in that 2nd-tier mix too.  I'd give him the roughly the same distro as Low and Stewart and see how they do.  In the absence of real scoring threats, you have to at least kick the tires on that 80 ATH.  You might as well also give the ball to Smith, about the same amount, maybe a little less.  He's turrible slow, but he's got a good ATH and a B FT.

It's not gonna be good, but you can maybe cobble together a little scoring there.

All right, so from what I've gathered, I've put together a rough idea of a distro chart:

Whipple 25/0 3Pt.
Low 20/-2 3 Pt.
Stewart 13/-2
Smith 12/-2
Hardy 10/-2
Ash 5/-2
Everybody else 2 or 3/-2

This look about right? I'll have to experiment with it a little and figure out what works. So as to avoid this happening again, is there something I ought to change about my recruiting strategy? As of right now, my focus is ATH/SPD/DEF, and as long as I can get two of the three, I'm happy. Anything else I may need to consider more?

Take advantage of your opinions weaknesses, if there is a weak defender up your guys distro.....also, recruit more pass.....think about going fastbreak for an offense if you aren't all ready.......recruit a scorer!

I run flex, not sure how advantageous a switch to FB would be at this point. I think it may set me back too far. Perhaps if I try to move up and build in D2.
