This is probably a record that is not "trackable" and also admittedly involves a good bit of luck. But here it is. I have 6 teams in D1 in 6 worlds. Tonight, for the 4th recruiting period in a row (4 different teams), I managed to recruit the #1 overall player in the country. The reason I say it involves a good bit of luck is that three of the four were under 200 miles away. My Oregon team with an A- had the #1 guy only 60 miles away, and he was a childhood favorite, plus he west had an unusually large number of top recruits, so I didn't face any competition from higher prestige teams. The one I got with my Kentucky team was definitely not the #1 player because he didn't have a ton of potential. However, I still think it was a cool record. I don't think it will go past 4 though because my next team to recruit again is Kentucky, and the #1 player is in Dallas. It has been a fun run though. Would have preferred to do it 4 consecutive years with the same team.
