Odd drop down situation Topic

Recruiting was going on and I was attempting a pull down. Spent 3.5K on a DI guy to get to DII (12-15 SVs). After a battle and other recruiting stuff, I ran out of cash.

Later, the DI guy did a normal drop down and got the contact me email. I find it very odd that the player would not be considering me at that point. I was out of money so I just watched until a player who i really like went unsigned. This seems like a mistep somewhere. I'm sure if he would have dropped down and THEN i spent 3.5k on the guy it would have been complete overkill to get him.

That's how it works.....effort to pull someone counts as about 1/3 credit.....so your original effort was around 4 or 5 ST in "real" effort, so that might no have been enough to meet the treshhold......if you had waited for him to drop, he certainly would have signed for 3 or 4 HV's and less money..... it's one of the risk's involved in trying to pull someone down....Go RU.

Haahaha. Yeah, thanks man. Little details I still don't know. I think I'm going to have to rethink my strategy. I got beat up the past two recruiting seasons. What used to work doesn't seem to do so at all for the better players I now target that my prestige has moved up. But, I can salvage something if I go to work next season.

A simple strategy on pull downs if you're running out of cash (you may know this, but in case you don't): Only attempt to do one at a time. That way you're not spending cash on several guys and possibly using it all before you get them.
