Entering its 27th Season the 1901/1961 Double Progressive is looking for two new owners for the 1927/1987 Draft. We are a 20 team league with no DH, four 5 team divisions, with each division winner advancing to playoffs. There is a great mix of both veteran and new owners. Trades are encouraged, and there is a bottom four team lottery for the first round order. (otherwise worst to first draft order for next season). Please sitemail me with any other questions.
1. Seattle won the AL West with a 91-71 record, losing the ALCS in 7 games. They have the 17th pick in the draft. They have returning stars Al Simmons and Herb Pennock, with future star Mark McGwire coming off his rookie campaign.
2. New York Polo Players finished 4th in the competitive NL East with a 83-79 record. They have the 10th pick in the draft. They have returning stars Rickey Henderson and Andre Dawson, plus Doyle Alexander and Freddie Fitzsimmons. Their first draft pick last season was future star Barry Larkin.
Both teams have great futures! So who will guide them to victory?
