So if I attempted a redshirt last season and it was denied, and I attempt this season does this count as my second attempt and he will immedietely drop to 1 WE or would he drop a certain amount and then be able to regain WE if un redshirted.

Does a failed attempt last season mean there is a "zero" percent chance or just a lot less than before.

if he does not take it and drops WE does that gaurentee his leaving?  He's pretty much maxed out so if I redshirted him and lost WE it wouldn't matter to me as he isnt going to get better.

Even if you redshirted him and he lost WE, as soon as you un-redshirt him he will gain all of the WE back.

now if I don't unredshirt him what is the percent chance he stays for next season?

I've RS'd a guy the season after he refused it.  It worked.  

okay i redshirted and he dropped WE to 6 which is okay, so he won't leave dac he'll just not grow at all basically which he wouldn't have done much of anyways.

Well ... guys CAN leave because of a Red Shirt ... usually don't though.

turns out the FAQ says they can leave...I've done it a few times, never had anyone leave, and I've never heard of it happening...but I guess it can

it doesnt count as your second attempt. i believe last season's attempts have zero impact on this season's attempts, just like promises.

This is true .. last season does not impact this season.  But non-freshmen get more ****** about being red shirted .. and the more seasons they have to bigger the WE impact and it would stand to reason also the higher the chance they will leave.
