Two questions about drop/pull downs Topic

Ok, I know the basics of how to look for them, how to do it, etc.  My questions are;

1.)  At which point in recruiting do drop downs stop dropping down?

2.)  At that same point, are all the guys that were able to be pulled down now recruitable?  Or are some of them still having to be pulled down?

It's late on the last day.....I think 11 AM or 2 PM EST......Some guys will never drop but you can pull them down.....i don't think it is alot but there are a few

There's also a handful that will never drop, even if they gave you the 'backup' message

Not true - depending on your prestige guys start dropping on day2

I don't think they ever STOP dropping ... but once SIM AI teams start recruiting, most of the Lower Div-1 guys will get taken by low Div-1 SIM AI teams.

Typically I will put out my coach calls 6pm when recruiting starts and guys will start dropping at the 11am cycle the next day. And yea they dont ever stop dropping, they will continue to drop after signings start

I have been trying to pull down a D-2 recruit with one of my D-3 teams and have sent out 15 SV. He has yet to drop and we are almost a full day into the signing period. I know the normal basis is about 10 SV, but  I was expecting more because of the low prestige. Other recruits have been dropping constantly, but this guy has yet to drop. Is this normal, or a rare occurrence?

Back-up message:

"Hey coach, honestly, X is a fallback option for me at this stage. Just being honest - honestly. Keep in touch. Seriously. Do it..do it."

SV message:

"BTW, I think we're going to have to wait on him. He seems enamored with the big conference schools - if they pass we have a shot."

It's normal.  10 SV is what a lot of people use as an opening bid.  It can sometimes take many more.

He ended up signing with a B+ with 0 SV. My school is a C- with 15 SV. He still had not dropped to me up to that point. The difference from a B+ to a C- is that significant? That is something that I was unaware of.
