Reputation effect of rescinding a scholarship Topic

I have this center that I signed last recruiting season and this season there are 3 much better options within 100 miles of my school.  I know that if you signed the player that you are cutting your rep can take a hit, but how much of a hit?  Enough to even matter if I were to apply to a job in the next couple seasons?

It's been several seasons, but as I recall if you're at an A+ coaching reputation now, the hit will knock you down for two seasons and then you'd be right back to where you are now assuming you do nothing to further impact your coaching reputation.

Even if I'm wrong on the time frame, I specifically recall that the hit wasn't significant enough that I'd ever consider not doing ti because of the downgrade.

I think if you are at an A+ it will knock you down to an A-.  Like rednu said it will take you two seasons to get back to A+.  Depending on the job you are looking for, the A- may be a limiter, but probably only for high level DI jobs.

Not sure if something changed recently, but I just rescinded a scholarship from one of my own recruits (just one) and fell from A+ to B+.

I hada huge rep hit once when I rescinded the scholly of a RS recruit. I think I went from A to B+.

I had A+ to A- , 2 years back to A+.

For some reason it does not appear to be consistent

hard to know, but it is about the size being referenced

keep in mind, all these letters are representations of numbers - so it could be that some of those A+ reps were low A+ and went to B+ while higher A+ went to A-

OR it could be that somehow there is a range of effects on rep - all in that viciinity

Does reputation affect the ability to recruit at all?
