I've been the coach at Detroit in Smith for over 30 seasons.  Couldn't renew this current season while I was in the hospital.  When I go in to try and renew I am only offered Div II & III schools.  Support has been little help.  Any ideas?

Smith is 14 games into the season. I don't know if you can reserve a team in D1 during the season like you can in D2 and D3. May have to wait for jobs to roll over and apply. 
One of the VERY worst things wrong in HD currently is job qualifications. It is entirely possible that without help from CS that you will not be qualified for your old job even after 30 seasons once you left it.
I would think CS can put you back into that job with your explanation of your situation (may have to wait until jobs open up), as long as no one else applies for the position.
No matter what I think CS is your answer.
Be persistant, they will eventually see your ticket and give you an answer.
I have had good luck over the years with CS fixing things if it's within their abilities to do so. I didn't say it was fast... but usually they will work with you if possible.
