You are correct it's 1,000 miles.

Good tool Here

Supposed to be 1000, but that doesn't mean everyone follows it.

Nearly useless rule. Should disallow anyone from having two teams in one world.

me too. i used to really want to make my own basketball sim game, and i always planned on only allowing 1 team/world. i think the current rule is BS and if you are going to allow multiple teams/world, you should allow it. if anything, just restrict same-division teams - no 2 teams in d1, etc... the distance thing buys you nothing as far as preventing cheating is concerned, all it does it make it easier to tell if FSS sharing is going on *if you are closely monitoring the FSS actions of teams* (they they aren't, so useless). restricting divisions at least helps a little.

i think the best option is clearly to restrict to 1 team/world and make improvements to the game to reduce the demand for multiple teams per world, so the people you affect by not allowing multiple teams is minimized. they already went from 1 to 3 2/day worlds, so that helps a LOT (that was always one of the primary reasons for multiple teams, so many of which were in Tark). WIS should also allow people to start teams in other worlds, based on success in the aforementioned worlds, for the levels where jobs are not competitive (i.e. you can't just go pick up UNC in world 1 because you won 2 titles in a row in world 5. but if you have qualified for div 2 in world 5, then you should qualify for div 2 in world 1 - you just take jobs when new coaches do, when the existing coaches have already taken jobs, so you cant "take someone's job"). this eliminates the annoying and pointless grind - and makes WIS more money! i know several people who wanted another team but just didn't want to do the full grind, better to let them take a d1 job nobody wants and build from there, and have fuller worlds and a better balance sheet!

I think I agree with all that...

A plan like that for limited transfers between worlds would help make it possible to completely eliminate two team ownership in any world.  Introduce something like proposed above and then say that everyone has say three seasons to migrate.  Then, multiple teams totally forbidden.

I also would like to see WIS enforce the rules!  WIS this isn't NASCAR.  You have the rules, now enforce them.
