one of my weaknesses as a coach is that I really find it hard to leave roster spots open - I tend not to have walkons and play deep 

Might be that trying FB is the thing.  I would have to start paying way more attention to stamina - which has never been an issue for my teams

Anybody played FB/Man at D2?  I'm trying it out on another ID, and am tempted to switch back to FB/Press, which I have had great success with.  I think I must be missing something with FB/Man, because my teams are underperforming my expectations.

rogelio does it in Tark at Central Missouri and has won a NC

coachblades does it in Phelan but hasn't been at Cal St. Poly long enough to see the results yet.

dirtyjerk does it at D3 on his Upper Iowa team in Knight

Gillispie, if you wouldn't mind, could you look at my Nebraska team and comment. We run a fb/fcp combo. Feel like our team has been wildly inconsistent. I think I may know where the problem lies, but wanted to hear it from someone with experience.
