When do the final drop downs occur in the recruiting cycle? I've read that people drop differently, depending on your prestige. Makes sense. But is there a final drop period? Like, after that cycle there are no more drop downs? I'm assuming pull downs are still available after that. Thanks!

The latest I've seen is 11 a.m. on the final day.  I've usually moved on by them so I don't know if they continue to drop beyond that time. 

WIS told me that, if you received a 'fallback' message, they would eventually drop. However, I had one case where that never happened.

I have had guys not drop.   I don't believe they all do.

I would agree with this. I think some of the backups are occasionally ones you HAVE to pull down to get .Patience only goes so far. 

I also think if I guy was recruited by an upper division and doesn't sign, he won't drop down.....I think.
