Just finished my first season (Div III) and am hoping for a small prestige improvement. When will I see that if it happens?

I understand that with higher prestige new names appear on the recruiting list. How many new players might that be? Will those new players be among the best possible recruits, or is there a large skill spread among the group?

Prestige changes happen after completion of the NT.

The new players will be among the best possible.   The A+ schools will see a few more than the A, A-, etc.   These are names that would've been on your DII list previously. 

 Now, by 'best possible', I mean by WIS standards. Their standards don't account for the potential of the players, only their current status. 

Looking at your season you probably won't get a prestige bump, maybe to a C, but that makes little difference.

Yeah, you need to be patient, build slowly and scout for high-high players. When they hit senior year, you will get prestige jumps, and slowly be able to pick better players.

Yeah, I was only hoping to go from C- to C or C+. I am hopeful our conference will get a prestige boost and drag me up with it.

There is just little to do right now, I have studied which states I might scout with FSS for my three open scholarships. Just waiting now.
