We have a few good openings in the Lone Star conference and should be a top 3 conference within 4 seasons.
East Central has been human coached for awhile and returns a great junior class. They will be running a triangle and zone. You get 2 scholarships to work with in recruiting out of Oklahoma.
Angelo St. might look like a garbage can with a 1 and 26 record, but it just had its first human coach in just over 10 seasons who managed to pull in a good recruit class. 1 recruit gained over 100 points and the next best was just over 80 so some great development was hidden by the rebuild. Runs a motion press, and 4 scholarships to work with coming out of San Angelo Texas.
The other two openings aren't as appealing as they are sim recruits you would be inheriting. Cameron gives you 6 scholarships out of Oklahoma and TAMU Kingsville has 3 with 4 opening next year.
As a conf we have coaches such as jtt8355 coming off an Elite 8 season and 2 seasons ago a final four. Taggl who was a first season coach at Tarleton St. after winning the D3 championship 2 seasons ago coached Tarleton St to the final four. Helloflyers coming off a PI fina four and is a perrenial NT team, Dcy has been at Northestern St. since season 3 winning 2 titles and 4 more appearances. You would also get to listen my ranting about my "amazing" coaching job everytime I lose which can be amusing. I'll be in season 2 of a rebuild.
Conf board is pretty active and we were 5th in conf RPI last season
