No.  Your reputation takes a hit, but that only matters if you planned on applying for a job.  You get scholarship money for the open roster spot and get to fill it.  It's only when you rescind a scholarship that you don't get any cash.

No, you get the same scholarship cash you'd have if the player had graduated. That's why folks will try to intentionally get players to leave when they take over teams...you get the money for the scholarship if they choose to leave.

may not apply but remember that you will get the maximum value of 6 open scholarships regardless of openings, but if you are under that you will get normal cash for him
