Unfortunately, as the word was passed down the chain of command it was understood as "HD needs a nap"

Making a good app for something like this means a big chunk of change. I guess the question is, will that get new subscribers?

I say start with a cleaned up and easy to use mobile site. That is easier

i bet you could get a decent chunk of new people by having an app for the apple store and google play.

I think having an app for ios/android would absolutely be transformative for attracting new users

I know id pay $5 for an app.  I assume there are enough users between all of WIS' games to make this happen.
