No on trading(didn't even bother to look).   You're at the A/S break.   You'll pick up wins late because other owners who have made the MWR but are out of the playoffs will be less inclined to win.    Find some hitting without giving up young pitching.

I didn't look either, but I agree with Mike. Mortgaging your future just to try to get there is dumb.

And worst case, you trade the prospects, still get min-winned, the next guy who owns the franchise is even more behind the ball than you are.

Also, without looking I'm willing to guess the guy offering the trade has a solid franchise and a good track record of winning. Don't help the rich get richer because you are desperate.

At least two of your five or six best pitchers are in AAA. You've got a few decent bats in AAA also — though one's all-DH so should be shipped to the AL for whatever he'll bring. Try bringing some prospects up before trading any away. One purpose of MWR is to prevent teams from stockpiling many seasons' worth of talent to hit the majors cheaply all at one time.

If MWR is 55, you need to scrounge an extra 4 wins out of your last 71 games. Put your best nine on the field every one of those 71 games and 4 extra wins is doable, without giving up good players. Maybe don't lead off with your 39 SPD C. If not from AAA, find a scrap somewhere who can hit better than .227 to play RF. Trade the AAA DH for RF or bench bat. One veteran who can rake doesn't solve the problems. Let a few prospects get a jump on ML development where it makes sense, and fill in any other hole with $, not talent.

I'd give Olivares a shot anywhere but shortstop where your offense is faltering. 29yo in AAA with decent bat and + defense. If you don't have a spot for him, your offense is pretty good. Melian's a great hitter with no position on an NL team. If Olivares is too mediocre, package him with Melian for an upgrade somewhere, Point is that without being in contention, you want to avoid trades to make MWR. Find your weakest spots and upgrade with FA leftovers, WW or promotions. Trade if that doesn't work. But if you have no good AA/AAA players and your ML team is going to lose 110 games, you're in deep anyway.

Your AAA pitching staff might be better than your MLB staff. You'd have a hard time getting any sympathy for MWR when you've got 70s splits, CON & VEL all over the place in AAA. Your AAA team is 93-51. Chance are you have a few players who could help out. Why wouldn't you want to do that before trading them away?

Again,
Thanks for the help but I have 1 player in AAA with splits at 70 but he doesn't have 1 pitch above 70 and has 2 pitches below 40 with poor velocity and he throws a lot of fly balls, which is bad in our park. I have him rated as my #4 pitcher in AAA. I have one other with a VL split in the 70s but he's a lefty and will get eaten alive right now in the majors

A good AAA record means nothing
My AAA staff is not better by any means. Maybe Hogan and Javier but the players they would replace are performing very well.

Sounds like you're just making excuses.   But your AAA staff blows.    You do have a couple of hitters who can help.    Basically, you built a ****** team so you could spend 31m on prospects.   Now you have to get off your *** and find a solution or you've simply wasted your "rebuilding" efforts.    Trading away top pitching prospects for hitting will not be the answer.
