Ranked Recruit in D-3 Topic

2 cycles ago my Castleton State team (Allen) had Gary Edwards #192 SF on our D-3 board. I thought that in D-3 you were unable to recuit currently ranked players. He is a 2 year JUCO player and ended up signing with a D-2 team. Just wondering if I was incorrect on my assumption or if this is very rare.

I've never seen a ranked guy on a D3 board, didn't think it was possible either. But was he within 70 miles? B/c that might make it plausible. Plus, JUCO's are generally more willing to go down a division. Still very odd though

I've seen ranked TRANSFERS on the D3 board but never JUCO or Fr.

He was a JUCO, and I double/triple checked and he was ranked on my board and no where near my school. My school is in Vermont, he is originally from Oregon but went to JUCO in, I believe, South Carolina.

that's a pretty solid A+ prestige your D3 team has. Most of the best recruits you are able to see on your D3 board are probably on most everyone else's D2 board.
