i just took over at Prairie View in the Smith world. it was sim-coached before me...so as you can imagine, the roster is crap. i have 2 open scholarships and 10 juniors. how many of those simmy scholarship players am i allowed to cut? i know that i can only have 6 incoming freshmen, but ideally i would love to cut 6 of my juniors to bring my open scholarship total up to 8, and then bring in 6 freshmen and 2 sophomores. i know ive read somewhere that the engine doesnt allow you to cut too many players in case you would then not sign more, and be unable to field a competitive team. and since i also know that you cant rescind scholarships after signings begin, the engine wont know that i am signing players to cover all of the scholarships i want to rescind. so anyways, any help and info on this topic would be appreciated. thanks!

You can cut until you have 3 players left

see another thread on cutting players recently - there is some small risk when cut players that a guy you would like to keep will leave because you cut his buddy(ies)

Thanks fellas. I cut 6 players. Signed 8 with just the scholarship $ for 2. No McDonald's All-Americans, but definitely upgraded
