they currently have 133 D3 coaches which is the most and might add a few more since it's open.  127 D2 and 127 D1 as well( a lot of 127 coaches in a world lol)

387 total coaches

127 D1 knight, 106 D2, 100 D3.

But those are unofficial, wont add them in until they close tomorrow. but at most its less than 5 total coaches added to their totals..

It would be interesting to see Rupp D2 versus D3 from 5 or 6 seasons ago before a bunch of coaches moved up. Thanks for the info the0nlyis!

I'm surprised they keep this thing going.  It doesn't seem like much money for such a big company.  I guess it's just a piece of the puzzle and is essentially maintenance free at this point, despite our squawking…. I'm guessing they bring in about ~30-40K a month, or is my math way off? (3089 coaches total, approximately x $13 season = $40,157…. less whatever free credits they give away and promotions to new coaches.  Obviously throw in all the other games and it's a nice small business.  But for Fox?

Carl,

You forgetting about the traffic edict.

If you own a grocery store and you want people to spend their money with you, the best thing is to put Milk on sale at a ridiculous price.  A gallon of Milk for $1.  Limit two per customer.  While you may be losing a little money on Milk, you'll be gaining money on all those other sales.

Because people don't go to the grocery store and just buy one thing.

income is income, think about maintenance for this? Probably piggy backs off of normal fox servers meaning maintenance comes down to how much they pay a guy to make sure its operating smoothly which can be done with a team of what maybe 3? pay 3 guys 50k a year to maintain if im aiming high which amounts to 12,500 a month which in turn makes probably 15-20k pure profit each month amounting most likely on the low end $180,000 profit a year. Why kill something that is profiting? There realistically no way that Whatifsports is in the red... I'd be shocked if it was.

Don't forget that they are also making bucko bucks on the other games as well. And occasionally I get a team or two in the other sports. So they get a lot of cross traffic as well.
