We need one owner for the Post War Progressive League, which started in 1946 and recently started it's 20th season (1965).This is the first opening we have had since the 1959 season, or almost 1.5 years of WIS time

One of our good owners has informed me (and the Commissioner of other leagues he is in) that for personal reasons he needs to temporarily at least suspend further play in WIS.. He has offered to transfer his team to a new owner for the remainder of the 1965 season.

The team available is the New York Highlanders (the name can be changed to Yankees if desired). We have only completed 19 games of the 1965 season so the new owner will have an opportunity to assess the team, make lineup or pitching rotation changes etc and have a lot of time to decide which players will be keepers for 1966, our 21st season.

I do require that in exchange for getting a free team for most of 1965 the new owner must commit to at least 3 additional seasons.

The team's roster for 1965 and hitting and pitching stats for the 1965 roster players are posted below.

If it doesn't work out I would also be glad to take them.

I have decided to award the team to dbrom
