We're fast approaching a new season and the ever fun hiring period.
But I started wondering last season and with the new one soon here: How does coaching loyalty work?

Is the loyalty listed, to the team they were signed with in the previous season or can it be interest in your team. I need to go after some serious help as I have some youngsters making several jumps this season and need whatever edge I can get.

So how should I look at (or give weight to) loyalty when looking at coaches this year.

It's the the likelihood that he'll re-sign with you next season.

Even if he was coaching with another team.

This is where I find it the term loyalty funny. 

If it doesn't matter where he coached, then I like my chances on some new high rated blood.

It's the likelihood that he will re-sign with the same team next season. If you sign a high-loyalty coach, you're more likely to keep him for a few seasons. If he has been coaching with another team, his loyalty is irrelevant to whom he'll sign with this season, but relevant to your chances at keeping him in the future.
