D1 prestige battle from D- Topic

What is the highest prestige i could fight a recruit for and have a realistic shot of winning?  I was thinking D+ is the highest school I'd be willing to fight for a recruit, maybe a C- if they have less than 3 scholarships open.

Factors are money, distance, and # of ongoing battles for both teams. I think you could take down a C or C+ if the situation was just right.

I'd say don't fight unless you truly thing the player is going to be special and that the team you are fighting does not have many schollies to fill.

At that level of prestige, you only want to fight higher prestige if you know you will win.  Like if you are within 70 miles and the other guy is outside 360, you have more open schollies than he does and he has some other battle.

The key reason not to fight is that there are usually other players as good or almost as good who you can get without a fight

That said, if you decide to fight, fight to win.

I guess an add on question is when do sims recruit I just had a recruit WOTS favor a school even more after send a few cv i was expecting to be in the deciding between x and x.  As it was he's not 100 percent sold originally?

How hard are sims to beat at D1?  Same as D2/3  It's only  half letter grade better than me...

The WOTS can change in and get stronger day 2 or day 3 of recruiting, likely due to considering credit kicking in (happens in D2 and D3 as well).

As far as beating a sim, in D1 it's tough to know which recruit was the sims top, 2nd, or 3rd priority.  There's so much more money to recruit with in D1 that most sims show as *tight* on the WOTS message.  The problem is *tight* could be 20 HVs or 50 HVs, and there's really no way to know until you start to throw effort at the kid.
