The Hoops Dynasty layout, clarity and ease of use are all excellent. Easy navigation. Please keep it the same.
To me, Hardball Dynasty in comparison was really difficult to navigate and read. I sucked in it, but besidss that, i didnt like that the game used icons on the top of each column. Half the time i didn't remember what each column represented... plus there were dozens of columns without spacing, and when 25 players were listed under ghe columns i found it to be a nightmare to quickly read the ratings.
To me, Gridiron Dynasty was a solid game, but i thought there were just too many settings that needed to be monkeyed around with. Not sure i care about fine tuning each down etc to such a micro degree. But that's just me.
Hoops Dynasty is a great mix of clean graphics, great strategy, and enough variables without going crazy. Great intangibles like scheduling, redshirting, GPA, etc.
Also, i played 1 year of Soccer Dynasty but it didn't grab me. Again, tough graphics and confusing worlds and player contracts, though i probably should have given it more time. WIS could easily develop a College Soccer Dynasty using the Hoops Dynasty mold. There is an online game from England that used to be great but had a stupid name, called footiemanager.
That footiemanager game had every European team from like 10 different countries, with 2 divisions per country, except England and Scotland had 4 divisions. It provided promotion and relegation, and you could sign free agents, set ticket prices, and gameplay set up was very similar to Hoops Dynasty. The players had 10 attributes each, with shooting, heading, marking, speed, athleticism, etc. Each skill could grow depending on training.
Again, very similar to Hoops Dynasty. Not sure if that game exists anymore. One issue was it was expensive, 10 English pounds per season, though each season lasted 8 months for the 38 games, plus it had a Champions League feature and an FA Cup feature. There was no recruiting unfortunately because it was the pro's, and if you bought a guy at 18 years old, you could hold and develop him for 15 seasons... the rich teams would horde elite players for years and years, whereas the college game would have a constant replenishment via recruiting and graduation. Anyway, don't tell me college soccer in WIS wouldn't be cool...!
