I think I got a good team with only losing 1 senior.  I've read a lot in the forums about pieces to the puzzle.  How would some of you guys set this team up. I know my PA is my weakest link. I start Williams at PG, but was thinking of moving him to SG and starting Sosa at PG. I want to get the most out of my  talent. I want a PG that doesn't score but gets lots of assists.

I like William at PG

Elder or Sosa SG

Human SF

Boyd PF

stevenson  C

I almost went with Keys over Stevenson, but Stevenson's experience PLUS Key's low LP, made the difference

Remember Stevenson is graduating. Also you don't like Crites?  I'm afraid to start Sosa with his low def. Also Spiers will be back off of his ineligible stint

ha, al i was like what the hell is al thinking, and then i realized there are two williamses :)

terps, your 2 best guards generically speaking are crites and williams, with your two best scorers being williams and and elder. seems like it would have to be one of those pairs - depending on your scoring from the 3-5 (and if one of those scorers would play the 3). seems like you both are picking the guards individually, one by one, where as i pick by pairs (and really by 5 man units) and therefore am reaching a different conclusion. really i could see it a couple ways:

crits williams human (findley keys depending on position of opponent scorer)

crites williams elder (findley keys)

williams human elder (findley keys)

the final lineup is the best scoring lineup. with your poor passing, and elders crap passing (and bh) i think it would absolutely be a mistake to have elder at the starting 2 - thats why when i have him starting, i'd put him at the 3, and let human play the 2. but, i think that leaves your 3 primary scorers on the court together, and im not sure thats really necessary. i'd rather have the defense and the pg passing you can get. crites has bh/pass growth too, i really think he grows into your best bet.

as far as elder/human at the 3, i could see it either way... oh ****! i didn't see human's growth. really i didn't look at anyone's growth until just at the end when i was curious if crites would grow for you into a really solid PG or not. with that growth, go with human at the 3, elder backup 3. if you were playing the championship today though, with the ratings you have now, i think elder starting 3 is pretty darn compelling, you get all the value of his per scoring that you'd get at the 2, without his bh/pass just destroying you.

on a final unrelated note, williams is by far your best scorer, and to have him significantly south of 20 ppg next year would be a big mistake.

OK. This is what I'm going with:  PG  Crites, Sosa; SG T. Williams, Spiers; SF Human, Elder; PF Key, Boyd; C Findley, ?(who ever I recruit). When R. Williams gets to 70 BH and 72 P, then I'll stick him as back up PG. Sosa is a liability I think
