Do Intentional Walks add to SLB Pitches? Topic

Huh.

If I knew, I wouldn't have to ask...

In SLB, do the presumed pitches contained in intentional walks of a batter count up in:

1. The pitch totals recorded for pitchers?

2. The pitch totals recorded for the purpose of determining fatigue?

good question, I don't know the answer. Sounds as if you might want to ask admin and see if they ever get around to replying.

If LIVE is any indication then the answer is yes

Why would they not count?

From playing LIVE, I would have to disagree with ozomatli, at least in the short term - when you issue an intentional walk, the pitcher's fatigue does not change.  However, it seems to compensate back to normal after the next batter.  So for playing LIVE, it sometimes makes sense to walk a guy if your pitcher only needs to record one more out.  Very occasionally.  But my hunch is that by the 2nd batter, and in terms of seasonal fatigue, the pitches do count.
