As we approach our 42nd season, the Monty Python Progressive is now looking for one new owner.

We are a typical 24 team progressive, no DH, no special rules regarding salary or keeper requirements. Minimum 35 wins by game 120 to qualify for the #1 pick in the first round. We do draft up to 4 additional players/pitchers following the regular draft.

Boston Breakers  -- Plays at Fenway Park and has the following potential keepers (you can keep up to 25)
C  Yadier Molina, Ryan Hanigan
1B James Loney
2B
3B Jose Lopez
SS Juan Uribe, Melvin Mora
OF Adam Jones, Andrew McCutchen, Denard Span, Justin Upton, Alfonso Soriano, Bobby Abreu.
SP Gio Gonzalez, Randy Wells, Kyle Davies, Tim Wakefield, Jeff Suppan, Ross Detwiler. Jeff Weaver, Jeremy Bonderman
RP Brian Wilson, Jonathan Papelbon, Jonathan Broxton, Wade Leblanc, Tony Sipp, Hideki Okajima, Kevin Jepsen

Owns all its 2010 picks, plus an extra 2nd rounder acquired this season

We are nearing the 120 game mark and will soon know the team's draft position (currently around 5th pick). Ideally we will be able to get the draft underway around the end of September and be ready to start the 2010 season in early October.

We are a solid league with many long-time owners, no drama, plenty of trades and lots of competitive play!

If you've got any questions sitemail me or post them here.

Team will have 4th pick in round 1 of upcoming draft and will alternate between 5th and 6th picks in subsequent rounds! Decent core of players, a rebuild shouldn't be too difficult.

Who will be available? Madison Bumgarner, Stephen Strasbourg, Giovanni Stanton, Buster Posey, Carlos Santana, Austin Jackson, Starlin Castro, Neil Walker  all make their WiS début in 2010. One of these guys could be yours!
