Crum Patriot: The Sim AI Superclass Conference... Topic

How common is it for Sim AI's to have superclasses (classes of 6+ players)?   I think the Crum Patriot may be unique, in that of its 9 Sim-run schools, there are 6 that have a superclass.

I noticed that in my run to a loss in the CT Finals this morning, each of my 3 opponents had monster Junior classes.

these were my opponents:
Maine:  8 juniors.
Colgate:  9 juniors.
Lehigh:  8 juniors.

also in the Patriot:
New Hampshire:  6 seniors, 5 juniors.
Vermont:  7 freshmen.
Lafayette:  6 freshmen.

American, Army and Navy all have no more than 4 players per class.
Holy Cross, UMBC and Hartford have human owners.

Of the 6 superclass schools, only 1 has had a recent human coach (Lafayette).   The other schools have gone 10+ years without a human coach.   So, randomly, half the league has superclasses.   Weird.

We're trying to turn this around in my conference (Capital Ath Conf D3 Iba) since it's pretty annoying that they're so bad when underclassmen.

Goucher - had 7 seniors 2 seasons ago but now has a human coach
Mary Washington- 8 seniors 1 season ago but now has a human coach
York - 8 seniors this season but now has a human coach
Gallaudet- 8 seniors this season, potentially might have some to take this over
Salisbury- 8 Sophomores this season, no human coach identified to take it over... yet
Stevenson- 9 sophomores this season. A buddy is going to take this one over for next season.

Why are sims allowed to have more than 6 in a class? Isn't there a way to rebalance it even if a human doesn't take it over?

+1

Surely, it can't be that difficult of a fix to require Sim coached teams to adhere to the class size limit rule?
