I have a senior this season who has one year left of eligiblity left since he was ineligible his first season.  When will I find out if he is coming back for the 5th year?

I think it depends on his gpa and what division this is for, the wis faqs outlines I think, I think d1 is 2.7 req?

Yea sorry for that... I'm in D1 and the requirement is definitely 2.7, which he has a 3.5 going into this senior year.   Given the GPA requirement, I'm guessing I won't find out until closer to the end of the season if he's staying.

He should automatically stay as long as he hits the 2.7 gpa requirement. The only exception to that would be whether or not he gets drafted a year early.
