I've decided I'm a big believer in doubling, usually the top two offensive threats for my opponent. But let's say the other team's best player (most PPG, highest offensive distribution) is being guarded by my best defender, who has 88 ATH and 97 DEF. Would I still need to double? Or would my best defender on their best scorer be good enough? I guess what I'm asking is, is best defender + double team overkill?

well you have to take into account the minutes that there guy is in and your guy is on the bench.

So do you also trust your backup.

Plus he could always to a lineup change on you.
