I have Babe Ruth on one of my teams. After 44 games he is hitting .191 with 3 home runs. He is killing my team. In order to get Babe going, we will be holding a candlelight vigil tonight in front of Yankee Stadium. At precisely 7:14 p.m., I ask that everyone light a candle and hold it up for 60 seconds. Thank you in advance for your support.

P.S. We will not actually use real candles. We don't want to accidentally start a fire in the Bronx. Just hold up your cell phone and turn on your flashlight app.

P.P.S. If you can't actually make it to Yankee Stadium just hold up your phone/light wherever you are at 7:14 p.m., I'm sure it will help.

Yeah, I don't really know. For starters, I live in Houston. Besides that, I took a nap and didn't wake up until it was over. Babe Ruth went 0 for 5 in his latest game. A friend of mine pointed out that it was the 1919 Babe Ruth, who played in Boston that season and I should have had the vigil at Fenway Park. Oh well. Maybe I'll have another vigil at Fenway when I'm not so sleepy.

After 126 games Babe Ruth is up to .259 with 11 home runs. Did the candlelight vigil help? I think so! 

If you hold the vigil at Fenway make sure to bring extra lighter fluid and burn that dump to the ground. Most over rated crap ballpark in the major leagues.
