You do realize that if you don't have any openings this recruiting cycle that 100% of your tourney money rolls over to the next recruiting cycle...

So unless you're intending to move jobs or there's a close recruit that you are 100% sure that you'd be able to sign and nobody would jump you with only a single opening, then its probably in your best interest NOT to cut him and recruit with just your tourney cash.
