Just kinda looking for opinions on a D2 SF.  

Winkleman:
better against the press
better perimeter defender
slightly better scorer

Rose:
 better rebounder
better post defender

Am I missing something?

Winkleman is better by far. 30 spd... I would not really put that much importance in the difference in reb and blk... Winkleman is a solid passer, a good ballhandler and definitly a bettter scorer.

So Rose is the back-up. He is good though. It gives you a solid 14-18 minutes defense when Winkleman is out.

no question winkleman is the better player overall.  but depending on the situation you might make a case for bringing him off the bench.  it doesn't look like you needed him to score much last season.  but if you need a bench scorer, he'd probably fit the role.  

like you said, Rose is more vulnerable to press given low BH, speed... and I'd hesitate to use him against a fast SF who was a big scorer for the other team due to his 40 spd.  with such high ath it would be interesting to see if Rose could score off the bench too, making a good case for winkleman starting almost exclusively.  the rebounding rating is pretty low for both, so I'm not sure that will be much of a factor.  winkle had some rebounds last season anyway... too small sample size to see about Rose in that area.
