It appears that we have one opening in the second season (1970/71 and 1971/72) of the double season progressive which started with the 1968/69 & 1969/70 seasons. This is the era of Wilt, Baylor, Robertson, Dave Bing, Earl Monroe etc. We will progress 2 seasons at a time. There will be adequate players available.
The team available is the New York Knicks. The preliminary keeper list for the Knicks is posted below. The 1970/71 and 1971/72 draft is about to start. If a replacement owner is found quickly, the replacement owner may participate in the draft. If not, I will draft for the team until a replacement owner is found. If the replacement owner is found before the team is entered for season 2 , you may enter the team and will be able to select which season to use for those players who were active both seasons. If a replacement is not found by the time all other teams are entered, I will enter the team as a second team and continue to search for a replacement owner.
The Knicks had a record of 32-50 in the first season and will be drafting 7th. 1970/71 rookies include Artis Gilmore, Julius Erving, Dan Issel, Bob Lanier, Dave Cowens, Sam Lacey, Billy Paultz, George McGinnis, Nate Archibald and Pete Maravich, among others, so the Knicks will get one of those players.
