How much of an edge is

A to B to C prestige in recruiting?

10 % per letter in difference?

I've seen 5% thrown out there multiple times but that's more of a forum fact than anything else.

For me, division three recruiting prestige is more about which players you can access and which players you don't have to pull down then about a direct recruiting advantage.

Keep in mind that the letters mean nothing when comparing divisions.

More simply, a D2 with a C- is still better than a D3 with an A+ just because D2 > D3.

One time I had decent data and figured it was around 3% per full letter.....I don't think that's right but I think it is close to that.

I've won plenty of recruiting battles in D3 vs C prestige D2 schools. Not sure they're really better than an A+ D3

I've beaten an A D2 school with a D3 A+, but not sure how much effort the D2 put in.

I've also been beaten by D3 A+/A as a B+ D2 school.
