had a guy who complained about only playing 6 MPG. Said he wanted more like 12 MPG. He complained during a time when I was not checking HD for a couple days, so it took three games before I noticed. Since his complaint, these have been his minute totals: 2, 3, 3, 16, 11 (started), 18 (started), 13 (started), 21 (started), 16 (started), 19 (started). 

He just complained again. I would've understood another complaint after the first couple games of me not checking my email, but he's now started six straight and gotten his desired playing time in six of the last seven (the one he didn't was because he was starting and we won by 50). Why now? 

He's a borderline player anyways, so I won't be devastated if he leaves, but I'm just not sure what is triggering the complaint when I'm doing above and beyond what he asked. 

Hrmm...even on an average basis it looks like you're over what he requested. Out of curiosity was there a second work ethic drop that accompanied the second complaint? (I can't image that even if there was that it wouldn't undo itself after one more game at the current numbers. It might be you're still a tenth of a minute or so under what he considers "more like 12" (maybe he really wanted 12.4 mpg)

It's based on the average minutes after his complaint.  In his 10 games since the complaint, he's averaged 12.2. minutes...exactly what he wanted.    But, if his complaint happened BEFORE the last game, he was only averaging 11.4 minutes. 

ah, yep, allblack got it. The email came before this afternoon's game (but I checked it right after this afternoon's game), so he was only averaging 11.4 since the complaint. I assume then that I won't have to worry about him bolting (not that I was worried anyways) as long as he gets good minutes in the last six games of the regular season. 

I'm not sure how the WE has been from game to game, but currently it's -3 on the season. 

looks like he has only played in 19 of your 20 games so dont forget to factor that in to the equation.

Yeah I've had heated discussions with customer service about this.  Comes down to the fact that the players remain at the same level of satisfaction for several games until the next check-up period.  Hardly makes sense at all.  No one in real life would complain about his minutes AFTER starting 2, 3, 4 games in a row
