Would be very useful to be able to identify potential trading partners by searching the entire league by position.   Once positions are pulled, then we can sort by ratings.    For ex:   I want a stud SS...   pull all SS and then sort by range.   Intiate trade offers based on results.

The GM--->Trade--->Trade Search sort of works that way; you can tell if teams have either a surplus at the position or a deficit, but it only lists overall averages. Plus either way you're still bound by whatever position the owner decides to make the player, not what position(s) he could be playing. You can launch a trade offer from that page though.
The World--->Reports--->Player Search might be closer to what you're describing, but you can't launch a trade offer from that page.
