thoughts on distribution-motion pass or shoot? Topic

I still cant seem to wrap my mind over whether a high distrib. will mean more shots taken, passes or an equal amount or the formers in a motion offense where 5-6 players have a near equal distribution.

i am not totally following, are you asking what happens if you take one of those 5-6 players and raise their distro higher than the rest? if so, that one player will take more shots. or are you asking, if all 6 go from say 5 each to 10 each, what difference that makes? relative to each other, that answer would be, no difference at all.

Yea gill thats what I was asking...But to be more precise, will they take more shots or handle the ball more meaning they may pass more? Is distribution simply shooting or does it include passing?
