Does anyone know what grade level the different messages in a Coach's Call or Scouting Reports translate into for IQ. I will post what I know below, but if any of you know some and can fill me in, I will add them here:
COACH CALL - OFFENSE:
Relative to the other kids on the team, I'd say his knowledge of the triangle is great: B (This was a sophomore, if that makes any difference)
Relative to the other kids on the team, I'd say his knowledge of the triangle is average: C-
COACH CALL - DEFENSE:
I'd say he is average at man to man: C-
Relative to the other players I have coached, he is average in the full court press: C-
Relative to the other players I have coached, he is below average in the full court press: D-
SCOUTING - OFFENSE:
If this kid hangs it up, he can probably coach right away: A-
Seemed like there was another coach on the floor: A-
I've scouted a LOT of kids, but his understanding of _____ was second to none: A-
Nothing remarkable about his knowledge of the motion: D+
Pretty typical of most players that age in terms of understanding the motion: D+
