Scouting Budget Topic

Should you ever scout at D3?  I just did because I thought that I had 1,500$ to scout, but I think I just wasted all but 13$ of my recruiting budget...

Whoops.

I only scout if I am trying to pull down a player from D2. Other than that, I just rely on Future Stars.

I only scout at D3 if I really want to know if a certain attribute is low-high or high-high. Let's say there is a SG with a 40 PER and I like his SPD/DEF/P/BH/WE. If he is low-high, then I am lukewarm on him and he is a backup option if I can't find someone better. If he is high-high, then I will go after him.

So did I just lose my entire recruiting budget then?

If you have no money left and you spent it all on scouting, you won't be able to recruit anyone because you can't offer a scholly, which is 100 $. How many scholardships do you have to fill?

you have no open scholarships in IBA, all that 1500 was bonus money you would've fully carried over to next season, you only needed to scout if you were planning on cutting players as you have 12 players on the roster.
