Most players drafted in one year Topic

I was wondering if anyone knows what the largest number of players drafted from one team in one particular year is. My Kentucky team in Knight, which I just left, just had 6 players drafted in the first round. #s 1,5,7,11,12,16. The most I have ever had before was 5. But I know there may be someone out there with more than 6. Just thought it would be interesting to see.

Jake Marley at St. Johns in Rupp had 9, I think....I'll see if I can check.

Wow, that's pretty amazing... How did he perform in season 55 and 41?

Fine, the teams that lose that many players are, obviously, the top few programs in and a position to quickly reload on top 10 talent.....the EE REALLY hurt the midmajorish programs the teams in the 20-45 range....those teams can't just replace the guy they lost (or at least it isn't easy)....Jake was a great coach but he didn't battle to many other programs for the players he wanted, he just went out and signed at least three guys unchallenged every year.

They changed the rules to where you cannot have more than 6. That's the current most allowed.

I've never gone higher than coaching a mid-major and have never had anyone drafted. I'm just not that good at DI.
