Changes in posting? Topic

A couple of days ago I noticed some changes in posting in the forums, specifically with the little box that pops up where you type your messages. I don't know if the site updated something or if I inadvertently changed it myself. In any event, I no longer am able post lists in single-spacing; every list comes out double-spaced, like so:

A

B

C

I don't see any icon/link to fix spacing.

Any advice?

I'm seeing it as well. Seems like WIS updated the forum (plugin?) they use to a newer version.

I was having the same problem, so I started using the 'Insert/Remove Numbered List' icon

  1. These
  2. are
  3. your
  4. results

Thanks, guys. I sent a ticket.

nockahoma, your idea works, but for the lists I'm thinking of I'd rather not have numbers.

This is supposed to be better? Hey admin... when you make something better, please do not removed current functionality.

I can't wait to have a 600-name alpha list use up 1200 lines, because..

I

CAN'T

SINGLE

SPACE

anymore.

If you hit
SHIFT as you are hitting
ENTER it will be
single spaced

Yes
That
Works

Or just write your longer posts in Word (or lists in Excel) and then copy and paste...which is what I do for long posts anyway, because it's much easier to edit and much harder to instantaneously lose your post.

Response from Admin:

We'll look into this and see if we can adjust the new editor to single space like the previous editor. Until then, you can single space if you hit shift+enter.
