I would like to see the SimLeague Baseball waiver wire, replenished on a regular basis. I just started playing again, and from what I can see, it's just a collection of under-performing and non-performing players. A waste of time and (imaginary) money. It doesn't have to be this way. It's not that time-consuming of a chore, for someone to oversee this on a regular basis. Perhaps, this is by design? If so, I think wis should re-think this. I'm in the process of just using up my 6-pack. I find the game lacking in the fun department, when you are virtually assured of picking up a player who is as bad, or worse, than the one you just got rid of.

You may be just catching it a bad time. I probably use the wire more than anyone here sometimes upwards of 50 to a 100 times a season. and my record says that I do pretty well. For me, 90 percent of the time there is someone worth using there. There are guys there now. In time you will build a mental library, and you'll be able to direct your attention to the players that perform well. It's challenging, as it should be. I don't think I would want a waiver wire where a multitude of good players are always at everyone's disposal. GL

The WW really shouldn't be used to pick players up like that. The 10% penalties add up. It's worth it if you have excess players you have sitting in AAA, and thus can have some extra cash for an upgrade. Beyond that, not sure when I'd make a pickup.

There will plenty of quality guys on the WW once Dodgeball starts. Why not join up? We only need 3 more!
