There is a story developing in Tarkanian D1. It's a great final four going on and, it should be thrilling. First, Gillespie, Kansas, whose team has been kinda not the same as his two previous winners, is going for a three peat.

And great coaches meet in this final four... Great coaches!

ACN24 UCLA is going against KANSAS
KIMBALL MIAMI (FL) (pulled the upset against JWinner Michigan State) is going against JBASNIGHT SYRACUSE

Here are my humble predictions.

It's going to be close but UCLA is going to crush Kansas dream of a three peat. Yes, it will. Pretty close game on paper, but UCLA has a slightly better passing team and plays at higher speed than Kansas.

In the other game, Miami (FL) will prevail and should meet UCLA in the final game. The win against Michigan State is a confidence booster for KIMBALL.



One team that deserved a better ending is Oklahoma's Justinlee.

you left out that 3 of the teams are repeats from last year, and also happened to be coming out of the same regions with the same seeds as last year! dont think ive ever seen that before.

'cuse just had miami's number this season. they pasted them in the season opener, too.

usually, when you are playing a team in the title game, that you beat at their place in non conf by 17, you'd be pretty confident. at least, i would :)

however, jbas/syracuse is my kryptonite! in the last 10 seasons - not counting this one - i have made 8 final fours. of those 8 final fours, i have converted 4 to championships, and got knocked out of 4. EVERY ONE of the four i lost, came at the hands of jbas. the 4 titles i won, i won without having to face the orange. if you throw in the game from this year, in the last 11 seasons, my final 4 record is 10-4. thats 10-0 vs everyone not named jbas, and 0-4 vs jbas. ouch!

its only fitting, that in the last game standing between me and the 3peat, i must face the team who has had my number for so long! (although we play in non conf every year and it hasn't been that way at all)
