I had a tough decision whether to sign this guy or let him go. Ordinarily, he would be a good pick up for most teams at D-1. However, we run fastbreak/full court press. Despite being at the center position, I felt his 1 speed really hurts him on both offense and defense. He really has 0 offensive ability. He's also a turnover liability with his 1 in ballhandling and passing. Last, even if he was effective, it would only be for a limited time due to his 68 stamina rating. If you were running fastbreak/fullcourt press would you have kept him or let him go?

He's gotta a role. He can play defense and rebound. He's a backup center or 5th big IMO. I would set his DISTRO at zero to limit TO's. If he was cheap, I would sign him.

Popular opinion is that speed doesn't matter much at the 5 for FCP. I think it matters more than most people but I would still sign this guy to be a reserve.

It was certainly a touch decision, but eventually let him go. If I had kept him, no doubt I would've set his distro to 0. Problem is, despite his excellent rebounding ability, I kind of felt a lot of turnovers came from after getting the rebound. The 68 stamina rating, not only effects him, but the other low post players on the depth chart, since they would be forced into more playing time.

I was just interested in what other coaches would've done.

I couldn't find a 1/1 guy but this guy is 9/9.

He averages about 1 TO per 24 minutes or so. (or .6 TO per 15 min).
