My D3 SUNY Plattsburgh (NY) team just signed two kids from AK, two from CA and one from HI. I wonder if national recruiting at the D3 level will still be possible.

I was thinking about this also. I regularly scout across the country at DIII when I see regions with less human coaches, or humans with fewer scholarships available that season. There was a thread a while ago about full conferences emptying out because Seble mentioned getting rid of postseason bonus cash. But I'd think if regional scouting becomes the focus, the advantage would be to be in a region with less coaches. So everyone would want to be in the emptiest part of the country possible, because they would get to choose who they want, versus filled regions have to battle.
Not sure if that's how it's going to play out, but it's a possibility.

True dan, but at the same time if you're stuck in corners, presque isle, George Fox, etc, will the regional camp piece screw you? Are you better to be in a traditional high pop area (GA, PA/NY) or on the fringes? I'm very curious how that will look in this new engine
