DII 3pt Shooting Topic

In DII, or any division really, do you start considering to set your 3pt frequency. Is there a certain perimeter you want to be at or will you starting considering to set the frequency higher when you have different attributes like ATH, SPD, BH that are high even though the PER itself is lower. My DII team that is just starting the season has some pretty low PER in general but I think I will start getting crushed unless I start letting loose some 3 pt shooting. I feel like I can afford to be a less % since I have good rebounding.

What are some of your guidelines in this area anyone?

I look at actual performance more than the ratings.

at D2,I generally consider moving players off of -2 around 55ish

Blacker should,IMO, should be at 0 or +1 depending on the situation

No doubt, it's only been 4 games and I definitely want Blacker to start being a real perimeter threat but I just recruited him and was worried about his low IQ before I gave too much distribution.

I do it near 50 PER, go to -1 that is.. Somewhere between 50 and 55.

But I also move some guys back to -2 based on performance.

It's important to factor in all the factors. The two biggest ones are the opponents defense and defenders defensive metric. I'll increase my 3 point setting for a questionable shooter if he's being covered by a poor defender, usually this happens only against sims though. Most humans won't start a defender that is so bad on defense that a 50ish PER player has a major advantage,
